Last year, Israel launched an attack on Iran after Iran retaliated by firing almost 200 ballistic missiles at Israel on October 1st, 2024, which was a response to the killing of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders and an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps general.  Following this attack by Israel, it was expected that Iran would respond again. On June 6th, 2025, protests erupted in Los Angeles in response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids targeting illegal immigrants, with over 100 people arrested during these operations. The protests escalated into riots as protesters clashed with the Los Angeles Police Department and federal agents to try and stop the operations. https://www.zerohedge.com/political/marxist-linked-unrest-worsens-los-angeles-amid-coordinated-color-revolution Since then, the situation has quickly deteriorated.
