Daily Emergency Meditation Focus: Super Typhoon Trami

Super Typhoon Trami is currently a Category 4 hurricane. It was moving towards Taiwan initally, and now it is moving slowly towards Ryukyu Islands of Japan. Then it is due to make a landfall at southern Japan over the weekend and early next week.

Although it is expected that Super Typhoon Trami will be weakened gradually over the next 72 hours, it may end up as a strong Category 2 or low-end Category 3-equivalent when it potentially makes landfall. Hence, it is still capable of producing damaging winds, flash flooding, mudslides and widespread travel disruption across Japan.

According to AccuWeather, the worst impacts will be from late Friday night into Saturday night across the southern Ryukyu Islands as Trami passes near or just east of Miyako.

Therefore, we suggest to include Super Typhoon Trami in the daily Emergency Meditation at 2 PM UTC until it dissolves. Visualize this typhoon being pacified and causing as little harm as possible.
