New Emergency Meditation Focus: Australia wildfires

Australia's New South Wales state has suffered from wildfires over the past week.

The fires have destroyed about one million hectares (2.5 million acres) of farmland and bush over the past week, fuelled by dry conditions and high winds.

The number of casualties caused by these wildfires has risen to four as of Thursday, November 14th, and more than 300 homes have been destroyed.

Authorities said they were monitoring a fire on the outskirts of Karratha, a major gas-processing hub on Australia's west coast.

More than 3000 firefighters have been sent to the frontline.
